Brittany grew up in Aurora and is the youngest of three sisters. Her love for animals started at a young age and she had a particular affinity for dogs. So much so that one day Brittany's Dad let her rescue a dog named Patch and brought her home without telling Brittany's Mom (oops!).
Brittany completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queen’s University, followed by a Master of Science in Animal Welfare and Behaviour at the University of Guelph. In 2019, she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and began her career as a small animal veterinarian in Toronto. She has been a member of the Leslieville Animal Hospital Team for over 5 years and loves being a part of her clients' journey with their pets.
Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, pain management and minimizing animal stress at veterinary clinics.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, and watching a good TV show. She lives in East York with her husband, and their 1-year-old daughter, who already loves animals more than her Mom!
